5500 YEARS FROM HOME

chapter Eight … page 61

Thom’s Birth Day

As the Orb sizzled through timeless space, knowing no bounds – Thom’s thoughts seemed to be driving the force. His latest vision was at his birthplace between New York and Coventry. Soon, the craft had settled onto terra firma and the EOB directed Thom to remain motionless until he could determine their time and space coordinates. The conclusion was undetermined due to the Orb’s previous crash back at the Martin’s. The EOB was content to lie in wait but Thom was anxious to see where they had escaped to. So, now realizing that his thoughts could determine outcome, Thom visualized the craft’s door opening .. and indeed it did. Thom leaned out of the vessel to see only woods and a creek and blacktop pavement beyond that.
.
The EOB was still unwieldy in body and mind but allowed Thom to venture outside in an exploring expedition.
.
Once Thom was standing outside the craft, he could see a fairly large redbrick building just past the edge of the woods. As he walked in that direction, he could see cars parked in a lot. They appeared to be American made. And so he continued to wander towards that building. He could telepathically hear the EOB with cautionary ambivalence. Soon, Thom was in the parking lot and as he approached the large building, he noticed a 1963 Ford Fairlane. He was not a big car buff but he knew that particular vehicle because there was a picture of his parents holding him as a baby in front of that make and model car. During his childhood it sat on their TV.
Thom began to reminisce about his parents. They had, both, passed away within the last 3 years from Cancer.
.
As Thom passed by the cars, he could see the writing on the brick building. It said General Hospital. Within a few minutes, several people came walking out of the building in Thom’s direction. He was hesitant about seeing anyone as the EOB had instructed him not to do.

… It said General Hospital. ..
