As the evening approached, Thom decided that he would pick up some carry out for Dinner and eat it while remaining at the Hotel. He looked around for a phone but after not finding one, the EOB reiterated what he had explained, earlier and that was just visualize that he had a phone. Thom couldn’t remember every cosmic nuance but was beginning to wonder if he was going to take all these idiosyncrasies with him into his present day. Regardless, Thom visualized calling in a Pizza and sure enough, the Dough Roller answered. For an extra buck, they would deliver. Thom checked his 1964 money collection only to find having exactly enough to pay the Pizza charge and a tip. He would be taking no 1964 money with him back to his present day. Thom gave his address as the Hotel’s but promised to meet the delivery boy by the side door, just off the Boardwalk.
.
Thom waited downstairs and after about 45 minutes, the Pizza delivery boy showed up. As Thom was paying him, sure enough, the older lady in the long black dress could be see riding the Boardwalk Tram down the Boardwalk. Thom started to run after the Tram but it was moving along briskly and running with a Pizza wasn’t that easy. Thom remembered the EOBs words about finding out in time and gave up his pursuit. As Thom started back to the Hotel, he looked up towards the Penthouse to see the EOB looking down upon him. He didn’t acknowledge him because there was no reason to call attention to a futuristic being that was squatting in a yet to be completed Hotel Suite.
.
Thom returned to the Room and ate most of his Pizza before retreating to the balcony and watching the vacationers strut along the Boardwalk.
.
The EOBs fascination with the TVs programs via the news channel was continuing as he sat mesmerized.
