5500 Years From Home

In addition to the 250 plus Lyrical Pieces that I have written and received Copyright Protection from the Library Of Congress - I have, also, written a Novel (copyrighted but not Published) entitled 5500 Years From Home. I am currently working on a 2nd Book entitled The Island that I am about 1/2 the way towards completion, .. but have suspended at this time.

I have decided to, occasionally, post excerpts from
5500 Years From Home in this Blog space.
Today, we peruse the 11th page of Chapter 20 – Page 162 ..
which is the book’s final page.
.
Enjoy !

As the hour was about to expire and Fanny prepared to slip back to the Craft, she passed by a woman who could not help but notice Fanny’s 2009 clothing in 1987. She smiled and told her that she liked her outfit. Fanny politely said thank you but kept walking. She did not want to have to answer questions as to where she purchased the clothes. As the woman continued looking at Fanny, she gave the thumbsup sign to Fanny. Fanny was just about to be gone but did notice that the other woman had a tattoo on the back of her hand that said L – a – r – r – y in cursive lettering with the L in Old English style. As Fanny disappeared back to the Craft, she wondered if that was a coincidence or if, somehow, the woman knew Fanny or even Fanny’s mother. Fanny figured that it was just a peculiar coincidence.
.
The Craft’s operational procedure was activated, once again and away it sped through the cosmos of chronology. Soon enough, The Craft was back in 2009 with Fanny ready to regain her position within her family. She had only been gone 2 days but was happy to be back.
.
The FCO had her ship in working order a bid farewell to Fanny and was gone. <----

Thom had completed his 50,000 word Sci-Fi Novel in less than a week and submitted it to his employer at AP Publishing. The initial order was for 30,000 copies. The List Price was set at $ 30 per copy and with Thom’s cut at 33 %, his up front take would be $ 300,000.
.
Anything beyond 30,000 sales would net Thom 50 % per copy sold.
.
And he owed it all to his new best friend and traveling buddy, the Extrinsic Orb Being.
