after the sun had disappeared
over his shoulder
and the cooling of the soil
bathed his sore tired feet
he stopped to rest
his journey had not ended
after four moons
had passed over the darkness
exhausted by his travels
still, his soul and mind felt good
he saw creation's hand
around the apple
he was about to taste
and it was good

as he felt peace
he knew he was
in perfect harmony
